Bitter | Sweet: Coffee, Tea and Chocolate – December 1

Board the bus at JSL Prentis Apartments in Oak Park for a delicious exhibit at the DIA. This exhibit retraces the story of how non-native coffee, tea and chocolate appeared on European tables beginning in the late 16th century, causing a near revolution in drinking habits, social customs and household goods. A tasting will be available at the end of the tour. Please note: lunch is on your own.

Cost:
Transportation – no charge for CSZ members
Exhibit – DIA members free, non-members $8 each. If you are a DIA member, please include that in your reservation.

RSVP to Janet Pont at jpont@shaareyzedek.org or 248.357.5544.
