High Holy Days are at home this year! How are you planning on transforming your space for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur so it doesn’t feel like just another Zoom call? Dunno? Join us to discover how and what you can do to make that happen!
Young adults are invited to join us on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. as we dive into the how-tos of transforming our living spaces for more spiritual experiences.
We’re excited to collaborate with Interior Designer Jennifer Sucher and Kara Desmond, professional organizer and owner of Utterly Uncluttered, as well as Rabbi Yoni Dahlen and community rabbis from Temple Israel, Temple Shir Shalom, Congregation Shir Tikvah, and the Downtown Synagogue.
Here’s how it works:
Part One: Moderated by Rabbi Jeff, Kara and Jennifer will give us the run-down on transforming our spaces to bring in fresh energy heading into the new year. They’ll take us through the rules of redesigning and organizing a space, and share their favorite products for giving a space a brand-new look and feel. Along the way, Rabbi Jeff will answer our favorite question, “What’s Jewish about this??” (Trust us, there’s a lot!)
Part Two: You will split into breakout rooms led by our partner rabbis to dive into a more intimate discussion about what it means to make your space “spiritual.” You’ll chat about how we’re all feeling about having High Holidays at home, brainstorm ways to bring the right atmosphere into your living rooms, and share plans for a Rosh Hashanah rooted in creative connection and gratitude.
Due to the generosity of donors, this event is available at no charge, though advance registration is required. Please register through the form here: https://www.meetyouatthewell.org/calendar/2020/9/10/repurpose-high-holidays-at-home
Please reach out to email@example.com with any questions. Zoom information will be provided prior to the event.
