The Centered Service

February 19, 2022
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Meeting twice a month in Hermelin Hall, the Centered Service, our alternative approach to Shabbat morning prayer, is focused on three i’s: informal, instructional, and intergenerational. We do a lot of singing, a lot of experimenting with different prayer styles and rituals, and a lot of learning about our tradition, about ourselves, and about one another.

Have some kiddos that you’re bringing along? Wonderful! We are not just family friendly, we are family encouraged! While our davening covers the full liturgy of a traditional Shabbat morning, we also intentionally organize our space and our time so daveners of all ages will feel at home. Parents, don’t worry, we have you covered with synchronous activities and crafts led by the amazing Elissa Schechter of Elissa’s Learners, as well as a plethora of toys, games, and books!

Whoever you are, however you are… we can’t wait to get “Centered” with you!
