Remembering Rabbi Adler Marking the 60th Yahrzeit
In 1966, the world lost a transformational spiritual leader when Congregation Shaarey Zedek’s beloved Rabbi Morris Adler (z’l) was shot and killed.
Rabbi Adler’s leadership impacted the City of Detroit and the local Jewish community, and he was a significant thought leader for Conservative Judaism around the world. Gregg Orley, Clover Hill Park Cemetery chairman and past president of CSZ, who was present the morning that Rabbi Adler was shot, will deliver the sermon in memory of Rabbi Adler.
